    I just passed forty years with an MBA from Penn State yesterday. I pledged to donate when I landed a permanent, fultime job that required one of my four degrees. I’ve kept that pledge and have given them nothing.

    Few bother to learn the history of the Supreme Court. We’ve had around 118 justices (and by coíncidence we have 118 elements), far more than the 46 presidents to memorize. However, only at one time did two minority presidents place five justices on the Court. It ended during Grover Cleveland’s second term in a few months. These five are in their third year. Of course, Drumpf should have had only one pick when Anthony Kennedy, who was on the Court only because the first two nominees didn’t make it, decided to leave.

    Margaret Thatcher did have a point. The unions were too strong, and government has no ability to run businesses. However, we’re nowhere near that situation, having gone the other way too far. Social democracy is the balance.
