On the contrary: He asked for a single year, so any one of the 4 years in which it was fought would have to be accepted as correct for the question as asked, even though it would not be a thorough answer for the topic addressed. Had he simply asked for “when” then you would be expected to give the entire range of years.

The fact that the sandwich is the colour of death would be enough for me to not eat it.

Does it really matter if they covered the War of 1812? The answer is in the question. If you can’t get that one right, you’re doomed.

It was started in 1812, so yes, it was fought in 1812. It was also fought in 1813, 1814, and 1815, but you can’t say it wasn’t fought in 1812.

That was kinda Jason’s entire point, yes.

Jane has been called a boy more times than I can recall. Passing for a boy is not a challenge here.

I gotta agree with Elvis here. Why in the world would humans give cats something that looks like something they KNOW they should avoid touching, and tell them to scratch it???

Heh… didn’t even notice the error until you said something.

No, I don’t watch Fox News, thanks for assuming.

I was around back in the 1980s. I saw what Biden was doing. You don’t have to dig very hard even now to find it. But no one who can do anything about it seems to care enough to try. Same for the Clintons. Their actions when Bill was Governor of Arkansas in the 1980s should have gotten them put in prison, but somehow Bill ended up in the White House instead. And when someone did try to take legal action regarding their time in Arkansas, all the relevant records conveniently disappeared.

And I never said one word about Trump, so I don’t know why you’re spending so much effort on him in your reply to me. But since you did, I will say that I think that deep down, Trump truly cares about the country, but as you pointed out, he has no idea how to actually run a country, in any way, shape, or form. The only thing he really excelled at while in the White House was making himself look utterly foolish, which in turn made America look foolish to the rest of the world.
