   I’m pretty sure that Sunday’s “Sherman’s Lagoon” and “Wizard of Id” are repeats. Well, maybe they’re taking Mother’s Day off. Nothing wrong with that.

   I am of the opinion that it relates to satisfaction with one’s life without feeling the pressure of the hungry-hungry-hippo backlashing at you. Of course, the act of commenting automatically negates that.

   I’ve made more mistakes than I can count, but if anything I’m willing to admit them and try to learn from them. I don’t subscribe to Facebook, X, or TikTok, but I do like every now and then to comment on cartoons I particularly like. This happens to be one of them.

   In case you’re wondering, yes he passed away. We were camping in the woods, and I found him stiff in his tent in the morning. The Sheriff’s folks were so apologetic for doing their job. All I could do was lift my arms to the universally-recognized gesture of “this happens.”

    My best friend was a mechanic, and didn’t think twice about tinkering with my Cavalier. When I got the Accord, he wouldn’t touch it. He said “take it to the dealer.”
