The first car I purchased was in 2001- I bought it at my neighbourhood garage who had a good reputation – it was a 1984 Seville with only about 60,000 miles on it – the garage owner said it was in perfect mechanical condition – and he pointed at two small rust items on the body saying it will cost me $5,000 for a repaint job with the Cadillac folks. the price $4,100 canadian with tax – I bought it without taking it for a spin. The car was as good as the garage owner’s claim.
I have entered into a venture with a friend – I picked 5 numbers and he picked two. so far – total winnings are $40.00 – after two months. And we have spent $40.00.
I beg to differ:to list but a few responsible papers and magazines: NYT, Washington Post, Globe and Mail(Toronto), The Guardian(UK), The Atlantic; and no doubt many others; and then several TV stations: PBS, CBC BBC TVO for other viewpoints – and lastly our own brains
