Perhaps having to clean up the mess?
I don’t fully understand the issue among the non-participants. Certainly those who cared for the person would be disturbed. that makes sense. But for some reason it tends to disturb people who didn’t give a rip about the person when they were alive. I’ve seen people get downright angry at a suicide victim. (Yeah, I said “victim.” Kind of like a cancer victim, there are often treatable physiological maladies that factor significantly into a person’s state of mind as they approach the decision to take their own life.) But why would people who didn’t care about a person get angry with them for taking their own life? That part I don’t get.
