Coffee ice cream is one of my favorites, but I rarely buy it. I know I can’t keep to one serving a day. The entire carton, regardless of size, will be gone within three hours at most. And the “empty” calories and blood sugar spike aren’t the best thing for me.

Some Chocin roosters look like that. Red feathers on head and sometimes a “saddle” that includes the wings. Rest of feathers are dark color (kind of “green” in sunlight). Very tame breed. Good for small backyard coops if your community allows roosters. (And no, you don’t need a rooster for chickens to lay eggs.)

They can. Most have black or dark brown, but some do have blue eyes. And of course the albinos have pink colored eyes.

My Mom passed away in 2016 and never had a cordless phone or mobile. The same black wall phone was in the living room wall and had been since my earliest memories.

Google “The Ballad of Carmela Vitale: Pizza Saver, American Hero” to hear a song about the woman credited with inventing the pizza saver (kept the lids from getting on top of pizza and removing/absorbing half the cheese and other ingredients).

No one’s mentioned “Father Ted”? One of the funniest shows I’ve ever watched. Repeatedly.

I had a roommate one time who used almost all the pots and pans and a few plates (different sizes) when he would cook a meal for his girlfriend. Always when it was my turn to do the dishes, until I informed him he had to wash them when he was responsible for the majority of them. IIRC they no longer had elaborate meals at our house.

I have my fourth one scheduled for later this year (I have a history of polyps). I’ve never had any problems with the previous three, including the prep. The one medical test I’ve ever had I would not want to do again is the barium test. Had no problem downing the first two doses of the barium drink, but had a real struggle with the others (three if I recall correctly). The nastiest stuff I’ve ever tasted.

The driver’s peeved because what’s left of his cousin is in the gas tank.

In my social circle (a lot of farmers and manual laborers) those are called bibs or bib overalls. For us, overalls means a garment that covers everything but head, hands and feet (it might include a hood that may cover the mouth and nose during inclement weather).
