True, but the Dilbert case had nothing to do with the strip content ,and everything to do with Woke politics, mainstream media falling in line and ignoring the full story, and bullying the population so they won’t speak up or resist when they have nonsense presented as fact. The number of brave souls willing to speak the truth is increasing, but the term conspiracy theories is still the fall back defense

A little commentary on the story arc which continues in the following weeks . The cautious start of the new adventure, anticipation of what is ahead, building to the peak, and finally the rush. How will they react as they step from the ride?

Had to laugh. A fellow I used to work with had a reputation of putting people he became annoyed with in a garbage can. I was a different time when rules were less stringent and "horseplay " was looked at as a reason for scolding, not terminating. 40 years later most of us are still alive and have something to laugh about when we meet. Famous words: Dave, put that man down, he has work to do!

Unfortunately it appears Ed is no longer available, having been sent back to Toledo for the foreseeable future.

Fans are definitely unhappy with the turn that this strip has taken. I have only been following Crankshaft online about 7 or 8 years. I picked up Funky just before the final Bull storyline. So I don’t have the history that many long-time followers do. I understand that Crankshaft was considered a minor character in the Funky strip until his popularity led Batiuk to give him a spin-off. When FW was finally retired, loose ends and story lines were tied up, the time warp was supposedly destroyed so a few of the characters could cross over for occasional guest appearances. It is apparent that since the title character has made only 2 appearances in the last 5 weeks that he is back to minor status. I can understand that long-time FW fans are delighted to be reacquainted with some of their old friends, just as the “where is Crankshaft?” fans are likewise displeased. It is obvious that Batiuk has his own plans for the direction of the strip, and as the creator, and caretaker for so long that is his right, for however long he plans to carry on. So unfortunately, Ed is back in the minor leagues.

What? No warning that people may find the actions of the male character in this strip troubling or offensive?
