More black on black shootings with illegal guns in heavy gun law cities like Chicago every year than mass shootings in the same time period. Yet the media stays silent on that fact…

One nation under guns

Each year is a Mass Shooting spree. There have been more than 8000 gun murders in the USA since Newtown.

Well, Mr Onguard, perhaps you can tell us how many gun killings have occurred in places with permitted guns? A recent BU study showed a direct correlation between number of guns and number of murders with guns. It is no secret that the presence of guns does not reduce murder rates.

30,000+ gun deaths a year, over 8,000 since Newtown, as pointed out were homicides, and the usual right-wing cry of “HOw about auto ACCIDENTS”, and yet we consider 10-20 dead, “mass killings”???

We don’t need confiscation, but we DO need better regulation, period. Cars, after all, ARE licensed and are a means of transportation, and folks do have ACCIDENTS, and yes, people die, but they aren built to kill things.

As a gun owner, who fears the NRA more than the “government”, it IS time for some common sense. That means standardized FEDERAL regulations to control access, so you can’t just go a mile outside D.C., or yes, Chicago, buy a gun with no checks, and go back into those “regulated areas” and use the gun to kill people.

England has the strictest gun laws found anywhere – yet their homicide rate per capita exceeds ours. Why and wherefore, Libs?

Let the fascist conservative whining about rights for criminals and mental deficient irresponsible people having all the guns they can carry continue.

Since at least 1950, every public mass shooting in the United States (where 3 or more people are shot) has been in a gun free zone.On the Navy yard where the shootings took place this time there is a Marine barracks, and those Marines had firearms, but alas, no ammo, thanks to a mandate in 1993 by then president Clinton. They could have taken this guy out early on, preventing most of the deaths.
