Last year a spider spun a huge beautiful web outside my front door, just before halloween. The bug guy came the 30th & I made him leave it there. Can’t remember if the spider was there also.
I still give candy treats, but Halloween was just fun when my children (and later Cuddles) really loved it. She thought all the people were coming just to see her. She enjoyed folks in costume even more than I. (Also loved SCA events).

I thought June had her Halloween decorations up in August.
