Pianos are never crabby.

The piano is made out of a kite eating tree.

The competition for a mate gets tough and one of the contenders bites the other to assert dominance, the male is surprised and unsure what to do.

And there are so many things that he will always love more than you.

Schroeder and the piano make beautiful music, together. Can’t say the same with Lucy.

That last panel made me burst out LOLing. Haven’t seen it in a long time.

Musicians have special relationships with their instruments. It’s kinda hard to explain to someone that doesn’t play. A good instrument is like an old friend.

If she did that with Elton John and Billy Joel’s pianos, they’d sue her big time.

His life divides into (1) his music, and (2) things that interfere with his music. And (2) divides into (a) Lucy and (b) everything else.

In Lucy’s eyes, eliminating that piano will increase her chances with Schroeder. Yep, she’s one of “those people”.

This is the first time I have seen Lucy taking a bite out of Schroeder’s piano.

As I remember from another Peanuts strip, Schroeder has a closet full of pianos for emergencies.
