This is happening and will get much worse in a second Trump administration. That’s the nature of this type of pushback. It starts with the newest and most controversial civil rights. But once moving, it spreads. One of the few times the “slippery slope” is a concern is when it involves the concentration of power. That’s not to say it doesn’t occur to some extent with every societal change. But those are often benign. Along the way, many people believe that it won’t go too far, but modern history has shown that it will. And of course, the quiet part has already been said out loud; same sex marriage and even Loving v. Virginia has been question with this new interpretation of the 14th Amendment.
I agree that Weinstein getting a new trial is awful. Yet I haven’t heard about him being released. When Crosby was released, we saw that. Like to know what is going on here.
The right wing supreme court are proving themselves to be prejudiced political right wing hacks who are there to protect lying fascist criminal Trump instead of following the law and the Constitution.
The Trump rapist court wants a right wing monarchy.
The only barrier left to stop would be dictator Trump from overthrowing the Constitution are the USA voters.
