Some of these jurors have posted on social media that they have strong negative feelings regarding Trump. Yet they tell the court they can be “fair” and got on the jury.
What a joke. Clearly any conviction will be overturned due to jury bias. Ever hear of another case where jurors support locking up the defendant yet still get on the jury?
53 years ago, I swore and oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Trump and the Republican Party are the domestic enemies of the Constitution. Since, although even the liberal media calls this a “hush money” case, the trial is about interfering with a Constitutionally mandated election, I have no choice but to be biased.
I struggle with my Christian duty to love my neighbor, even my enemies. I do not wish evil on Trump in any form, but I do take delight when he has a personal or political setback.
The problem is that I almost get to the point of accepting him as a very flawed human being, and then he does something to make me think that he is less than human. In this regard, I feel like Sisyphus.
It’s impossible to get a fair trial in N.Y. because the people that live there are insane. Who would want to live in a filthy, nasty city where you have to look over your shoulder because someone might push you in front of a subway train, punch you in the face, rob you, carjack your vehicle, rape your spouse, but yet they keep voting democratic and think things will change. Good luck with that.
Evidently some public individual was encouraging Buttercup adherents to apply for jury duty. An obvious attempt to force an innocent verdict. Seems to me that would be described as taking steps to circumvent the law and interfering with due process under the statues, and thus a focus of law enforcement.
The Trump legal team figured out a way to help Trump sit still and behave himself at the trial. They gave him a coloring book and the Bigly Box of crayons.

It’s easy to rule out the folks who are definitely strong supporters of his though (MAGA gear, gold sneakers, Trump “bible”, confederate flags).

How much hush money did he have to pay to find 18 corruptible citizens in New York? Considering many of them are lawyers.

Does it take only one juror to throw the case? If so then I’m 100% certain the fix is already in.

Great, the fate of the country may be decided by a dozen people too oblivious to have an opinion on trump.

I feel in a cruel mood this morning.
