Once the corporate state should find a way to exploit the Palestinians, all would work out like Vietnam. — more cheap labor!

George W. Bush was asked in a presidential debate what lessons he learned from the Vietnam War. The draft dodger’s answer? “We didn’t stay long enough.”

I do think that this may be an issue during the Democrat’s convention. The problem is that if so many are so upset with Biden and his policy it could result in electing Trump. How does that help the Palestinians? Or the environment? Or women’s rights? Or healthcare? And on and on…

I’m wondering if Kent State is influencing governors to not send in the National Guards in their respective states.

totally wrong conclusion. We were fighting a war of colonialism (had to give the French back Vietnam after WW2) and Israel is fighting a war for survival. They Government of Gaza attacked Israel so they are fighting back, in war the innocent always are caught in the crossfire. Hamas (the Rulers of Gaza) could stop this by releasing all the hostages today.

This is the war Hamas/Iran/Russia hoped it would be when they started it. The plight of Palestinians or the welfare of anybody in Gaza was not a consideration. The objective was to illicit a horrendous response from the Israeli government and use the death and destruction in Gaza to foment chaos. They are meeting their objectives.

All those College protester fools want to “hang” the Palestinian problem around Biden’s neck so that Trump will get a boost in the election.

America does seem to have a problem by getting involved with other peoples battles. There are always two sides to any conflict and America has representatives of both. It’s only a matter of time till they clash.

The compassion is stupid. We had troops on the ground in Vietnam. In Vietnam, we REALLY shouldn’t have been there at all. We have no troops in Gaza. I disagree with and do not condone Israel’s scorched earth tactics. But Hamas attacked first.

“No, Mr Netanyahu. It is not antisemitic or pro-Hamas to point out that in a little over six months your extremist government has killed 34,000 Palestinians and wounded more than 77,000 – seventy percent of whom are women and children. It is not antisemitic to point out that your bombing has completely destroyed more than 221,000 housing units in Gaza, leaving more than one million people homeless – almost half the population,” Mr Sanders said.

The Vermont Senator — an independent who caucuses with Senate Democrats — continued that it was “not antisemitic” to say that the Israeli government “has obliterated Gaza’s civilian infrastructure – electricity, water, and sewage” or “to realize that your government has annihilated Gaza’s health care system, knocking 26 hospitals out of service and killing more than 400 health care workers”.

“It is not antisemitic to agree with virtually every humanitarian organization in saying that your government, in violation of American law, has unreasonably blocked humanitarian aid coming into Gaza, creating the conditions in which hundreds of thousands of children face malnutrition and famine,” he continued.

Sanders closed the statement by again addressing the Israeli leader directly and calling antisemitism “a vile and disgusting form of bigotry that has done unspeakable harm to many millions of people”.

“But, please, do not insult the intelligence of the American people by attempting to distract us from the immoral and illegal war policies of your extremist and racist government. Do not use antisemitism to deflect attention from the criminal indictment you are facing in the Israeli courts. It is not antisemitic to hold you accountable for your actions,” he said.

It’s the right-wingers who are in Gaza. Yell at the people who support Bibi.

It’s also the right-wingers who chanted, “Jews will not replace us.” They support Bibi because he’s so much like them — a right wing nut job. Also because they believe Israel will usher in the second coming of Christ. Also because they hate all Muslims.

The dumbest thing – politically speaking – is that Israel’s actions are only supported by 20-something percent of Democrats. To not only continue funding Israel’s slaughter of Palestinians but also send police to break up protests is political suicide.

We got ourselves into Vietnam under Eisenhower and Kennedy. Biden had nothing to do with Gaza getting started, but there is a strong belief Netanyahoo let the Hamas attack happen in order to protect himself from his pending indictments.
