The charges are written on the court documents and the trial, like all trials had the accused enter a plea before it started. This comic can be interpreted in at least three ways. It could be that Bok is implying that Trump is stupid, or the people are stupid. The third option is that Bok simply doesn’t know what the charges are for some reason.

All 34 charges would have been read to him in the indictment. Was he not listening?

Only right wing commentators have trouble with this one. He had already declared that he understands the charges. He is absolutely allowed to ask for clarification in a respectful manner.

If he doesn’t know by now he deserves to be put under lock and key.

“What”, indeed? The Democrats fired up their Lawfare machine by denying Trump the most fundamental of rights: that of knowing the specific charges against him. Alvin Bragg has withheld exculpatory evidence from Trump’s defense lawyers. And now Merchan allows Bragg to turn his courtroom into a bordello with no relevance whatsoever to any of the specifics in the case.

And all with a spirit of blithe unawareness of who the judge is that just overturned the Weinstein conviction, what his jurisdiction is, and why he chose to overturn the verdict. Ignorance, thy name is Democrats!

Let me get this straight — Trump is on trial for a misdemeanor for which the statute of limitations has lapsed which was raised to a felony by means of an unindicted, unspecified related felony. Common sense be d****d, this has his show trial ala Stalinist Russia or Nazi Germany. At least he won’t be going to the gallows (as some would wish). Reminds me of the phrase “He must be guilty or he wouldn’t be here”.
